Bay Orthopedic is a family owned practice established in 1975 it has three locations on Long Island and in several neighboring states. Our Professional staff has over 200 years of combined Orthotic and Prosthetic experience. We excel in all areas of Orthotic and Prosthetic care from Pediatric to Geriatric. Throughout our years of operation, Bay Orthopedic has been known as one of the most innovative providers of Prosthetic and Orthotic devices in the tri state area. Our strong relationships with 15 of the area hospitals that we are on staff which include all of the Northwell Health hospitals, Winthrop Hospital, Huntington Hospital, St Francis, St Joseph’s, St. Catherine's and Southside Hospital, just to name a few. Our hospital affiliations have proven to be one of the largest contributors to our success.
Our affiliation with these various hospitals has allowed us to be involved with various health care insurances, HMO’s and rehabilitation facilities, and initiatives focused on improving the quality of life for our patients, hence our slogan. “Turning Disability Into Ability…One Patient at a Time”. Bay Orthopedic prides itself on its commitment to scoliosis bracing and the fact that Bay Orthopedic is the exclusive provider of the Wood-Cheneau-Rigo Corrective Design Scoliosis Brace (WCR) in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Massachusetts. In addition, Bay Orthopedic is accredited by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, The Board of Orthotic & Prosthetic Certification, The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and The American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association.
